Taking five of the eight courts, Cedardale rocked an early-season team win making the drive to Lynnfield worthwhile. Lisa and Leslie won handily in straight sets as did Ann and Susan. Our amazing subs, Julie the cruise director Menezes and Linda France, brought us a match point. Thank you, ladies! From the looks of Lesley and Carol's on court moves this week, they will be advanced to team Serena any minute now. Great straight-set 6-0, 6-2 win. Arlene and Lisa are working into their new pahtnah groove, and Betsey and Lisa are simply warming up after the summer break. Meanwhile on Court 5, Cap and I were on Jimmy Buffet time throughout much of the first set. Deciding to kick it up a notch in the second, I launched a ball at net that may well have stopped traffic on 495. Kill me. JEANNIE, I'm just sayin', you and Kristine are on fire.
